Circle Of Honor, is the struggle in rescuing the essence of Hip Hop,the pulse of modern Boom Bap that connects us to the ancient African drum(tambo), the Funky vibe giving us Swing on the dance floor,it is also the rhymed speech by the street teachers(Emcess), who teaches us how to be a better person. It is with this vision,we executed this project, with much love and sweat for true lovers of the greatest culture in the world. this mixtape has the connotation of an album, and not only because the beats were extracted from albums and singles of some of the dopest producers in HipHop but it is exactly this factor that originated the concept of picking instrumentals with no official recordings on them(FROM VARIOUS BEATAPES) and also some instrumentals that has official recordings but with low media exposure. The intention is to give new insights on a beat (as its done with Riddims by Jamaicans and Rap in the 80´s/90´s ).
The producers are unaware of this (so we'll use it as an unofficial Underground artist mixtape ) but the goal is to make the sounds reach each of them,to show respect, love and consistency that each track was been crafted, making it clear that in no form, are we trying to take advantage of them. Futhermore our true dream is to have this sounds released by each producers involved,showing that art can overcome bureaucratic barriers and just be, Music, Art & Poetry which are the values printed on this project..This is Circle Of Honor..
